Once again, even though I typed in the dimensions, ebay's calculator did NOT take the fact that it was an oversized box into account when calculating shipping costs through UPS. It is costing me $37 to ship something that the calculator only registers as $23! Funny, but the dimensions I put in were even larger than the box actually is. I put 11/6 as the shipping date so it can't be it's assuming I'm shipping on a Sunday. I'm mad.....

Been there annekila ! I only got screwed once by e-Bays calculator on UPS. If its something big I just put Can be sent UPS or DHL also if shipping is cheaper to save you moneyin the auction description. Then give them the calculator for Parcel Post and Priority. They can e-mail for the other quotes or when auction is over I send all four prices and let them choose the way they want it shipped. So far that works much better for me.

That sounds like a good idea. I am definitely going to do SOMETHING! I could always use another shipping calculator from Shipscript, but I've liked the way the shipping has always been added automatically to the invoice.

To make eBay come out correctly when shipping UPS, put 30 pounds in for an oversized-1 box, 70 pounds for an oversized-2, and 90 for an oversized-3 box (unless the actual weight is more).
