I ran into this yesterday. After you leave feedback you can do an eBay survey that asks what you thought. I told them it was a waste of my time.

As a seller that generally does follow the eBay rules, I have mixed feelings. This does leave me open to an opinionated response.
But on the other hand, it would expose the cheats who charge way too much for shipping or do not respond to e-mails from buyers when they should (within 24 hours IMHO).
I personally see it as another obsticle for smaller sellers and possibly the death of small mom & pop sellers as we know them.

Less than 50% of buyers are leaving feedback as it is. Who do you suspect would be willing to take the extra time to fill all of that out? My guess would be the buyers who are either ticked or pleasantly surprised when they find a seller who actually delivers what they sold.

I have been leaving feedback but the survey has not shown up under the feedback area, so maybe they are testing to see if people use it. If they don't use it then maybe they will take it out.
I don't care to waste anymore time then I have to when it comes to doing feedback.
This also seems to be a survey for just buyers to rate sellers. I think the newbies are critical enough when they leave feedback
Plus, it's not a survey of fact, it is a survey of their opinion.
Wouldn't it be nice if for once Ebay did something to help us Sellers?.....Why don't we get to rate our Buyers?..........

Please tell me they aren't serious about using this. There was something about this earlier this year and when all the spots were filled in it would spit out a rating that averages the answers - something like 5 is the best and 0 the worst, so the least little thing could cause a person to lose their perfect feedback rating. Does anyone remember this proposal?
