I know this must be an exhausting time for all the eBay sellers but I hope you are still able to enjoy Christmas/New Year with your family.

Based on a Kodak ad published in 1901 in The Youth's Companion magazine.

Hey, Marcia. We'll hook up. Ken and I were thinking of coming to Peninsula for some Jalapeno jelly today since I need it for a recipe. We thought better of it, though. That's rather far to travel for jelly.

Happy Christmas Eve Day! My sister sent me an IM this morning that opened with "Christmas Eve Gift!" which entitled her to open one of her presents early. My grandfather started the family tradition. The first member of the family to shout "Christmas Eve Gift!" got to open one present a day early. Of course he was always the first one up so always won the game.

I am sure you all have special memories of family traditions. Mine make me smile but a little sad too for the family that is gone.

Hope you all have your shopping done, house decorated, and presents wrapped and are ready for a really happy time. We decorate with our collection, mostly photographic (surprise!) and I wanted to share a few of our Christmas items.

Merry Christmas everyone. Here in Ontario, Canada, we have a rare event, a green Christmas. It is 42 degrees, and bright sunshine. I hope everyone has a safe and happy Christmas.

Amber - Good to hear that! You so often send your weather down here to Cleveland that it's nice to know this great weather should continue! It's getting into the 50's here today with bright sunshine! Amazing!
