If you use Vendio and you don't archive you can see your old old sales : search "sold" or "unsold", then relaunch or copy, and schedule far out in future (so you don't accidently launch), and then view in "pending".

I just checked and I have sold items dating back to Sept 2002 when I first signed up with Vendio (517 pages of them!)

If you save your listings in inventory a copy is there until you delete it I have one that has been there for 7 years keeping it as I have 2 more to list someday. LOL yep I have put it off until the right moment that has not come yet.

Nope, they don't. They archive it from their online servers. eBay personnel can still pull up your 5-year old auctions if you give them the listing number(s).

I'm occasionally in the situation you describe with an intellectual property thief using years old copyrighted text (of mine) to sell their items. I usually know who they are as, chances are, I sold it to them under a different seller ID. I keep all my old templates and closed auctions (with complete bidding histories) and it's been a valuable sales tool over the years...

Irked ... So if you save all of your listings to inventory, they don't get deleted? I didn't know that. That would save me alot of work in the long run.

I just asked this question and here is VD's reply

in order to get to the page where you have the option to save the item to your inventory you will need to go to "Post Sale" --> "Unsold Items" --> select the item and click "Relist" --> click the "Edit" link at the far right of the screen --> scroll down to the bottom of the listing form under "Inventory and Store" and select the "Save this item in my inventory" box --> click "Save".

Genius me, I DELETED All that stuff along time ago. All those ways say I have nothing stored!

BUT I went to my feedback on ebay,,,,I looked at the comments I had left for the buyers, For SOME reason I realized that after awhile you can't SEE what you sold so I started doing the follow up thing and would say, thanks for buying my Sub machine gun or my 25 MM rocket launcher, hahahaha. or whatever I really sold....Thinking back now I figured I could get some OFF ebay sales if I ran Across that item again , just e mail them direct. Well,, I found the item!!!! So Thanks AGITPROP and everyone else too..that e bay NUMBER. I Sold Hundreds of that item and sometimes I updated the title SOOOOOO,,,,,,could be a TOUGH job finding the Exact auction that I have that was stolen... BIG time seller is using it 52577 feed backs. 720 NEGS and He just got one more.

Thanks!

You can also "save to inventory" when you list (just check the box before launching - a copy is saved in inventory and a copy goes to "pending". You can delete the "pending" one and the copy still stays in inventory.

Roadie - I don't have any problems keeping everything. In fact, I don't understand why you want to archive? The most recent stuff is on the top but every once in awhile I need to refer to the older items

WOW go take a L@@K at your customers from a few years back ....Some things make me wonder why I Ever bothered listing them, peanuts in return and OTHER things I will NEVER see those SKY HIGH prices again......
