I am wondering and I think I already know this answer but I am not possitive.

In my eBay listings at the top I put my web address. The web address directs the customers to my eBay Store. But can I instead direct them to my Vendio Store? I know I can't do a link and it's not a link. I was wondering if that is allowed with eBay.

Not directly.

However, there is a very effective way to direct buyers to your website or Vendio store without violating eBay rules. Take a page from one of eBay's top jewelry sellers, rgelber. Each auction page has her "Treasured Finds" logo and the very first paragraph says this:

Presented by Rebecca & Matthew Gelber of TreasuredFinds - the web's best jewelry website! Everything we sell, on eBay and our website, is brand new so you can buy with confidence. Over 100,000 positive feedbacks show that our customers love us, and you will too!

I think even my mother -- the least computer-literate person I know -- can figure out how to find their website.

You too can create a brand (let's call it rshelby), register rshelby.com (quick, get it now!), then put an elaborate rshelby logo on your auction pages and steal Rebecca's copy, above.

On the home page of rshelby.com put a redirect to your Vendio store.

What I like best about what the Gelbers have done is that they've wedded their eBay efforts and their web store in three simple sentences.

You can have a link to your Vendio store on your listings but cannot promote it as such. You are allowed a link to a gallery of your items and that page cannot display non-ebay items for sale but CAN have subtle links to non-ebay items.

The teeny-tiny vendio logo appearing in your listings if you opt to have it apppear looks like this: and it takes viewers to a gallery of your ebay listings (not the Vendio scrolling gallery) and your Vendio storefront with your Vendio store categories on the left navigation bar. I don't have my Vendio store open right now because it's a mess or I would show you how it works.
