Monday is Martin Luthe King day,will the post office be closed?
And what about the private carriers?

Hey Stop, Heres the Postal calender..they are closed Monday. I don't really use the other services to be any help with them.

Martin Luther King Day is recognized but not observed by UPS.

All of the major carriers will be working on black Monday.

Most banks and all shopping centers will be open on black Monday.

Government offices and schools will be closed on black Monday.

MLK day is a recognized bank holiday, at least in this neck of the woods.

Banks are open here today. No mail, but they work Saturdays so they deserve the day off. Now the rest of the Government, get back to work you lazy *&^*%#ess.

LOL, stone! I saw our postal delivery truck today. They are delivering, but only Express packages from what I understand. The bank inside our local grocery store is open. Stand alone banks here are closed. I've seen both the UPS and the FedX trucks out.
