i thought i would have learned by now.
--------------------------
bidder wins my 335L yamaha acoustic, then asks what kind of 'material'- not what kinda wood, is used in its construction-i answer.[no, i didnt recognize this signal].
later, asks me if the case[which is shown in auction] is included-i didnt specifically say that it was included, so i notified that IT DID.
then wanted to know how, and how much, to ship-i answered. Nowwww, these last 2 questions both came after he won the auction-a time frame of five days transpired between bid and last two questions.
okay, next day i get email, the owner of the account emails me, and tells me a friend was using his account-friend won auction; and that the friend would contact me, etc. and of course, the friend was the person actually person buying the guitar, etc., etc.
the real one notifies me how he is gonna pay-okay great!...then i receive an email starting: before i pay you, please verify the case is included..now i patiently replied, YEAP!
this morning i get another email from the guy that starts: Before i send you a check, why is this left handed guitar strung right handed????[i had closeup imaged it for clarity]. then continues to tell me that this usually causes damage, and wants to know specifically is there is any damage to the bridge grooves?
i decided to short circuit any more questions. so i told him: it was already packed and i am awaiting his remittance.
WHY SHOULD I KNOW BETTER....its a "0" newby account..dont need to say no more, do i?
mot
AND, BY THE BY, I HAD 7 AUCTIONS LISTED, THEN WAS ONLY ONE I SOLD...AND IT WASNT FOR A GREAT AMT OF MONEY!!!!!!

That's interesting that a left handed guitar is strung right handed - it's usually the opposite.
If the bridge was reversed, as it should be when reversing the stringing, there should be no damage whatsoever.
Wish I would have known you had a left handed guitar up. My youngest is a lefty. We started him out with lessons at 4 yrs old as a righty, even though he writes and throws lefty (so do I, but play right handed). He was having a hard time with it, so we took a break, thinking he was just too young.
In the mean time, he would still practice what he had learned. One day I was walking past his room while he was practicing and he was sitting with the guitar in his lap "right handed" but his arms were crossed and he was actually playing left handed. It certainly was a sight to behold!
We had the guitar re-strung and he resumed lessons at 5. He's having a much better time of it now and really looks forward to lessons every week (he's 6 now, but he already plays a 3/4 guitar).

Ai! Carrumba!
Well, as EVERYBODY knows, Ralphie blows a wicked left-handed KAZOO -- his cover of Paul Muriat's "Love is Blue" always leaves me (& the neighbors) gasping...

"Are those bellbottoms, Classic?"
Pix-I cant honestly remember-I think they were just flared.I was a pitcher on the ships baseball team, and we played in our "working dungrees." Our dress uniforms, black and white were bell bottoms.Thats the team bus, just to the left of me,as you can see we traveled in style LOL.Thank God we didnt have to go that far as most of the time we played near Hickam Field. My ship which is in the background is docked not to far from the Arizona Memorial.
LOL Tom-he was quite the sailer heh?
Thanks Mingo,I know how you appreciate my pics Just to let you know I pitched 4 years in high school and 2 years in the Navy and "classic" never spit once LOL. I remember you mentioning that in the RT a year or so ago.
"are those high heels???"
no Neil,I wasnt into high heels until later on in life......

In 1971, after a year in Sweden,I took a quick tour of Europe, including a tour of a U.S. submarine in Frsnce (I tihnk) I walked away with a pair of USN dungaree bellbottems that I subsequently wore until they wore out! I was more of a vixen then!

I lived in Sigtuna - went to SHL. After Sweden, I majored in Scandinavian Studies at the U of Mn. My Swedish was dormant until I started on eBay- now I read much better than I speak Swedish. Classic - I don't think I'll explain the dungarees thing - I'm now a proper mom...
