do you still have to continue to be a member (at the minimum of $9.95) to post? What are the steps to "quitting"?

You have to have a credit card on file. I have the account that charges per photo hosted. If you don't upload any photos there is no charge.

hmm..I thought they no longer offered the free service. I pay 9.95, which they then subtract my photo uploading from. Once I upload more than $9.95 worth, I pay per upload. So, do they still have a free service? Or is just the posting free as long as you have a credit card attached? I will write service.

If all you wish to do is post, all you need to do if keep a credit card on file. There is no charge for that. That is all I do having decided there was no sense in paying a minimum fee to upload photos because I never uploaded a suffient number to even approach the minimum charge. They charge a minimum whether you upload any or not, by the way. I srarted ofcourse when the service was free when Vendio -formally "Auctionwatch" first began and through the period when there was a 15 cent per photo charge - no minimum.

Left many years ago -- after a particularly annoying stint of photo hosting issues where red Xs became the norm on listings, culminated by a very long night of non-launching auctions during an ebay promo. AW was still free at the time; somehow I must have put my cc on file, since I'm able to post.

That's it..I've jumped ship and gone onto a different auction management place. I've been using the other place for two weeks, and once I got past the learning curve I'm happy, and I'll be saving money. I was able to cancel the image hosting, and be on no charge unless I list, so I'm testing to see if I can still post.
