OMG It hurts to admit that I'm so tech challenged..but I'm living proof that it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Question is: I'm suddenly needing to be out of town for 3 days and have a couple of things with bids on them ending on the eve of the day I leave. My question is..can I create an invoice to my buyer from a computer and location other than my own here at home? Thanks for any help.

If you use Vendio they will send out automatic notices for you and you can say in that notice you are out of town for couple days so will have to ship then etc. I use it a lot of times if I am going to be indisposed like that.. You have to go into preferences and set up the invoice how you want it pretty simple and after you have those sent if you have a vacation message in it just go back and reset it to either send WBN or not and change message.

Actually, I've only ever used the eBay invoice...where I click on the Send Invoice gizmo from the My eBay page or the actual listing page. Would that process be possible or "legal" from another computer and location? To be honest, I'm too stressed out over the reason of my needing to go away to be able to deal with any change right now in my usual invoice method. Was so hoping I could just get on their computer to get the invoice sent off.

Yes, you can use eBay to send your invoices from any computer connected to the internet. You need to log in with your user name and password.

You may want to think twice logging onto Ebay with other people's pc,unless it is a kinko PC.
Ebay now has a data base keeping track of cookies and other membership data of individual members.
Say you are out of town and use your buddy's pc to logon to your Ebay ID,do your thing and leave.
Weeks and months later, your buddy is suspended for shill bidding,Ebay has records which show you have logged onto Ebay with your id on his PC,the same as the one on your home pc.
This is how they link accounts together, suspending more than one accounts.
It gets worse when he is such a generous user and allow everyone and his brother log on to their ebay id with his pc and one of these jokers go home and do some shill bidding.
One way to get around this is to access your emails when you are out of town,Ebay will send you end of auction emails and you can just use that email to respond to your high bidder without logging on to your ebay ID on other people pc.

I've had to do this a couple of times. We've been on the road and I've used my husband's laptop, or we've been at our cabin and used the laptop there. No problem.
Edited to add that I never use Vendio's invoicing but create my own through eBay only.
