maybe I should list it all of contents of my Shop on ebay at one fell swoop make it a mystery listing of entire shop full of ebay items. I have read and heard of 2 just this past week of someone selling their house full of stuff. That would be funny but would have to wait for that listing day promotion in order to list it for any value.
Any of you have any ideas ( other than I am an idiot LOL) on this thought of mine?

If they think Ebay store is just a place to hoard stuff you cant sell in auction, why do they want it??

no no no, this is stuff I have not even attempted to sell yet and may just bring them some profit. It is not a horde it is stuff I have gotten to sell and just have an entire shop full of it.

If they are indeed Ebay stuff and they dont cost them a fortune to ship, why not?
but most ebay sellers I know dont have much money lying around to buy bulk inventory,so may be you can offer some form of financing.

Sounds like a great idea, especially if you think you have a good chance of selling to someone local. I'd be most worried about shipping (delivery and cost). Maybe sell off the large items first before the auction.

If you live in a metropolitan area, I'd definitely list it for local pickup only, cash, with a time limit on pickup. From my perspective, I'd be interested in seeing what you have if I lived nearby, but not if I'd have to get it all shipped or travel a distance to pick it up.
Could you perhaps give prospective buyers an idea of how much bulk there is? "One pickup truck load," or two or three.
I suppose if you have a truck, you could even offer to deliver with a shipping fee.
Just thinking out loud here. I honestly would first try to sell some of the items I think have value before doing the big amount in one fell swoop.

Well I would say that there is maybe 4-6 pickups full? I also have a large stock of boxes that would go too, kinda hard to judge. It is in my shop that is about 12' by 15-16 feet and it is really pretty full .. Top to bottom and barley some walk room around 2 sides. I would definately have to list it as LOCAL pickup. I am in North Texas and don't think any of you are anywhere near me. I will have to reorganize it out in yard take some general pictures If I do list so there would be a general idea of the stuff. I probably will find things that I would not want to list and ship at all they are fairly heavy things or breakable and heavy.

My ex-brother-in-law's wife has a brisk eBay business listing left-over estate auctions, etc. She gets her stuff locally, usually buying large lots NOT on ebay. Why not try Craig's list or your newspaper classifieds first? I know estate buyers and auction houses usually low-ball it, but I think inventory acquired specifically for eBay sale would be a treasure trove to locals who list eBay catch-all.

Yes Pix I had thought of that if I do decide to do it that way, newspaper and we have a trading post every morning that i could call and try, but that may bring out the people that just want to buy only certain things.
I once had a GS and had a lot of stuff left over and I put sign on it all as free to anyone take it all. LOL had people digging just to get what they wanted didn't want it all. But I can understand that totally I guess, I did convince a guy to take it all and then go through it and he could throw away what his wife didn't want. LOL He had a huge load in his pickup after we got it loaded.
