I am just wondering if anyone else has watches on store items. I don't understand why anyone would do that. I have several that have multiple watchers.

I have loads, 6 on one. Some of them are multiples, and the watches have been on there for months. I always think that they are waiting for me to reduce the price.

Or another seller is watching to see if you sell it for that price?

I stopped at a garage sale this morning and the women running it was talking to me about eBay. She says she does not sell on eBay but uses the watch to track all the items she is going to sell at her sales and her booth at the antique mall.

She got the idea from other sellers at the antique mall. She watches store items because they are higher priced most of the time and wants to see if her item will sell that high. She said she has never purchased an item on eBay and probably never will because she has heard so many stories about people being ripped off.

I watch store items while I am researching items to buy. If I come across a rare item for a good price (does not happen often) I may buy it on the sport. Things that are available in multiple I will look up on other venues and spend some time searching eBay before I buy.

My husband will ask me to find photo items for him and I will locate and mark several for him to check out before I buy.

May be they are stealing your picture and try to sell it elsewhere.

I put all my watched store items on sale with markdown manager. I did a 25% off 48 hour sale.

eBay sends the watchers an email letting them know the price was reduced.

I sold about 20% of the markdowns....not to shabby.

I asked a customer this one time. Since I offer free shipping on three items or more, he said he was waiting for three items. He did buy all three eventually.

I like that markdown idea!

I really like that idea of putting the items on sale. I think I will try that as a lot of the items with watchers are in the same category. I will post the results if it works.

I had 20 items that were being watched. I marked down the watched items 10% using Markdown Manager, a few hours ago.

I have already sold one of the items.

Great idea, thanks for the tip.

I have over a hundred. Is there anyway to use the markdown manager in a bulk way besides the all or nothing?

Thank you.

It lets you select listing individually. It's near the bottom of the form.
