My bidder won some shot glasses but 2 of them were broken. If he takes them to the P.O. do they take all of them before they will honor a claim or just the 2 that were broken? In other words, the whole box?

It's been a while, but I remember a partially broken shipment through USPS. I think the buyer would have had to relinquish the entire contents even though only one part was broken and a second item was fine in order to collect insurance.
I think we worked out some kind of compensation that I refunded for the piece that broke, since he wanted the rest (and it was probably my fault for overpacking something fragile anyway).

thats what I thought. they take it all.
I packed it well so some idiot jumped up and down on the package. It was only 9.99 so don't know what he hopes to gain as it too much aggravation for that amount

I think this P.O. insurance is a pile of @#$%$
anyway. I am thinking of self insurance as I rarely have breakage.

Trouble with breaking part of a set is that it hugely devalues the set, right? The P.O. should let the poor buyer keep what's left and give him the full insurance, IMHO.
