Can anybody in N Fla suggest a company who has the really large bags of large peanuts?

Niel - Check with a local pack-n-ship type store. We used to purchase online, but after Mailers-n-More went belly up, no one offered them at their prices and vacuum packed like they did.
We now source them from a local shipping store and get bags about 5-foot tall by 3-feet wide and they're relatively tightly packed. They run about $24/ea. I wish I had a cheaper source, but we're not scrounging for them. I can be doing something more productive with the time it would take to do that.

OK, Wayne
will check it out but usually they are much more expensive. I hate the darn peanuts but they are a necessity. I thought if I could find a packaging company in the Jax area the shipping would be less

You can do an eBay search for peanuts in your area. I found a place a few miles from me that was a big seller on eBay and I was able to pick up from him without paying any shipping or handling.

I wish I could figure out how they ship them so cheap (and Priority as well). I put 3 hugh bags (55 gals each) up on Craig's list for cheap and not a single call.

They certainly won't be able to ship cheaply after mid May when the rates go up -- and you have to factor in dimensional weight!
Anyone who relies on them should start looking for a local source soon.

Don't you have to figure in the dimensional size now?

No - as long as it's under 108 total inches when you add length and girth.
They could send a package under that, and under 2lbs to us for about $5.00. I haven't done the research on it, but bet that won't be the same after May 14.

My company orders paper products from a place 60 miles away and I can get a 5 foot bag that is about 3 feet across for $12.00 delivered to my company. Or I can travel to the place and get them myself for about the same price. Look in your area for a paper product company that sells stuff to offices like toilet paper hand towels and they might just have all that you meed like boxes and peanuts like the one I get from. I am in Texas but most offices order their stuff from places that are local to semi local and these places usually sell to public also.

Yikes - I would buy some from you but Duval is just across the bridge from me!!
I know a lady that owns "The Final Groove" that sells on ebay as well. She may be interested in some. Her name is Dana - tell her Diane sent you. She knows some others who sell on ebay as well.

Wow...I never buy peanuts as I have 3 small retail stores near me that are always getting items shipped in big boxes with lots of clean peanuts. I stop by and pick them up for free when I start running low. Often they have more than enough to fill my full size GM van that I can not take them all. Keeps my overhead down and my recycling responsibilities up.
