I haven't shipped shoes in ages. It seems to me that the shoe box with Priority Mail has a flat rate of $7.00. Or do I weigh the box and charge accordingly??

The shoe box size boxes I use are not flat rate. You pay X amount depending on weight and destination.

Have they changed this or are there two varieties now?

And I've always had to order the shoe boxes from the USPS website. My PO doesn't offer them at all.

The one I use is goes by weight and zone also. Do they have one that ships For $8.10?

The fixed rate one has fixed rate shown on the box.
not the $$ amount,but the words 'fixed rate'.

That is not a flat rate box.

I use them all the time. Never shipped shoes yet though. They work just like any other normal box for shipping. Weigh it and go from there.

FWIW, they don't work for shoes that already have a box; they're just too small for that.
