For me:
Vendio: have moved my biggest repeat sales to vendio. Can give them better prices and keep more money
eCrater (just soft drink ads and moving my collectors over there. They don't like to wade through the vendio site).
Blujay: thought I would give it a try.
Anyway, have you sought more selling channels to lessen the "eBay effect"?
If so, where and how is it going?

I will be trying my own website. I am currently enrolled in a website building class and loving it.
It is not as hard as I thought it would be as I am not a mental giant in the computer department. Of course it is also simple when the instructor it there to guide you. Will she come to my home when I have an issue??

I moved all my ads to my own website... and am loving it. I can list inventory MUCH faster using bulk image uploads, and CSV files that I generate from automated Excel files. Sales have been great, and are growing at a much faster than anticipated rate. This was my first year, and I wasn't sure what to expect (or if I'd even make any profit). Turns out, I'm doing WAY better than I thought I would... plus I'm saving about $400 a month based on what it would cost to have my ads in an eBay store. Definitely can't wait to see what this next year brings. Last Christmas season was great, and I only had 3000 ads in my site. Now, I'm up to almost 10,000 and anticipate a much greater surge in sales. It's not for the timid, because I've put a LOT of work into my site. It wasn't too bad for me because I have extensive HTML and Excel experience. Without those skills, though, it would have been extremely difficult and intimidating. So, I won't say that having a website will work for everyone.... but it certainly was a good fit for me!

My antique mall spot is slowly dying. The past year was my worst year ever.
I've changed directions in what I buy, and rely more on eBay than in the past.

Nowhere else.
When eBay gets slow or difficult, I have enough of a cash cushion that I can stop selling for a while. I took almost all last December off. I'm planning to do the same this year, but I may take a part-time job just for the fun of it.
A hand-to-mouth existence won't work if one intends to make a living selling on eBay. You have to figure out how to make enough money in 10 months to last you for 12.

eBay at one time was 90% of my income. Now it is about 25% I also do shows, flea markets , and a few live auctions. When I started selling 25 + years ago flea markets were the biggest part of my income.
After all these years flea markets this year are again where I made the most money.

I'm selling stuff on TradeMe which has always had free listing (so little upfront risk). I mainly sell imported items that go for higher prices in NZ since they are hard to find even on eBay. I also sell export-only items on several of my websites mostly to European and Asian customers. Sales have been good this first half year

I've sold a few things on Craigs List and its free listing. Larger items that are impossible to pack. You can also find the local garage sales on that site

Craigslist has to be the most simple looking site I have ever seen. It looks like it was designed in the '80s. Amazing how such a simple site can become so popular.
