from her closed crystal auction " IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION AGAIN AND LET IT SINK INTO YOUR THICK SKULL BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT EMAILING ME WITH YOUR STUPID QUESTIONS. I LOVE YOU ALL. GOOD LUCK.."
Funny, I'm not feeling the love here....

I wouldn't bid if I was paid....if a seller is willing to break the law ...
"""I WILL OF COURSE MARK THE PACKAGE AS A GIFT """
...why would anyone trust them ??? She just stated "I am a crook".

When descriptions are all in capitals, I find them too hard to read, and it's like they are shouting at me!

Reading descriptions with all CAPS is annoying. And this seller's policies are annoying as well. She is charging $10 to ship a book? Has she ever heard of "Book Rate" fees or as she states in her auction, she just doesn't care and don't go crying to her about her policies.

See sellers like this are the reason so many people fail to trust or consider ebay as a legit purchasing site. I have heard more people say they are leery of ebay for reasons like this. $10 to ship a book? That is insane. I am half tempted to write her a stupid question just to see how she answers! LOL This may be a fun person to mess with just a little! I hate when people come on ebay and try to act businesslike when they don't have the slightest clue what it takes to run a successful company. Hey if she gets people to bid more power to her?, him?, it?...but I wouldn't buy from her if she paid me! Ebay gets all the crazies I swear!

Lt Ray I was so offended I sent the following letter to my powerseller rep, just now. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. These kind of dealers do poison buyers to the ebay way of purchasing. The note saying "buy my stuff PUNK" gee wizzzz
Thanks to digital Bruce for the perfect wording...
Adam,
Per our conversation about seller named: iamyomamapunk987. The item numbers are:
260125978747
260125979292
260125979712
260125980013
260125980324
260125987140
260125989970
260125993466
Wording found in every listing:
MY SHIPPING CHARGES ARE ACCURATE AND NON-NEGOTIABLE. SHIPPING TO ANY STATE IN THE USA VIA THE US POST OFFICE MEDIA OR PRIORITY INSURED MAIL WILL COST YOU $10.00.
I WILL OF COURSE MARK THE PACKAGE AS A GIFT BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN IT WOULD NOT BE SUBJECT TO CUSTOM CHARGES OR FEES. SO BEWARE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. DON'T COME CRYING TO ME.
I not only find the shipping charges a violation but, I find the listing in general EXTREMELY offensive. The choice to call tortoise shell rimmed glasses ANGLO-American is tantamount to racist!
Sellers like this are the reason so many people fail to trust or consider ebay as a legit purchasing site. I have heard more people say they are leery of ebay for reasons like this. $10 to ship a book or a cross? I am not only offended ...I'm angry... I'm trying to run a business with eBay and make a living, this persons behavior does not help in fact it hurts all of us.
Thank you for forwarding this letter to the people who can take action on this matter.

Bonnie,
This seller is free to say or write pretty much whatever they want in their listings(minus profanity). As for shipping... well, it does seem a bit much but she does say it will ship priority.
Fluffy is correct with her comment. The Law of Balance maintains that what goes around, comes around.
I personally find it hard to believe anyone would bid on this listing but 3 people did. Birds of a feather?? The irony of it all is that someone with this mentality would even be reading Alice Bailey books. Obviously they have not understood the message yet
For those of you not familiar with the Bailey books, they are esoteric philosophy. Cosmic Fire has a value of $48.00.
Price range in the series run from $12 to $ 48.00 new. Should you see any of these at a yard sale, buy them. They usually bring a decent price on ebay.

I stand by my comments to the ebay rep and by my letter. I am fully aware that we can all say whatever we want in our listings. The only "offense" ebay can deal with is the shipping charge excess and the statement that he/she will us the term gift on any international shipping. For this person to think that it is appropiate to charge $10.00 to ship a cross... please give me a break. To say that this is an accurate charge... what PO are they shipping from? How does an novice ebay buyer look at this.. with suspicion I would think. Does this reflect on the rest of us,YOU BET IT DOES! Enough said... I remain offended!

Ah, the beauty of free speech and the ability to publish almost anything on the internet! BJ - you are very brave to sign your comments with your name and eBay ID. A word of caution - our little community is not as closed as one would think, searchable by google, etc. There are a lot of wackos out there - you may want to edit them out.

Great jumpin' Jehosephat, what do YOU care?
Does this reflect on the rest of us,YOU BET IT DOES!
Oh, grow up.
First, eBay decides what excess shipping is. Not you. And they hit Fixed Price listings for shipping infractions, not auctions like this one.
Second, eBay doesn't give a rat's fart if anyone writes "gift" on a Customs form.
And lastly, that term you're so offended by, Anglo American? It's a BRAND NAME for eyeglasses.

Well, I do believe it does effect other sellers. If a first time customer clicks on that auction and sees how the seller is able to get away with the rude language (not too mention poor business practices) they may click off the site...possibly taking away a good customer. We all know that good customers are hard to come by on ebay. I do not however believe that ebay cares what is in the auctions or how much we charge for shipping. I went online looking for a simple memory card the other day and most were prices well below retail price but shipping was outrageous ($40 for an item that maybe weighs an oz.) Needless to say I went to Amazon and got one perfectly fine. I think that ebay needs to monitor better what sellers are saying and what they are charging for shipping. This is an increasing problem on ebay. Half of the site is a joke the other half are legit sellers with great product. Get rid of the crap and keep the good ones.

Lemme see if I've got this right, Bruce 'n Bonnie.
You're trying to get an African American seller kicked off eBay because you don't like her. I believe your term for her, Bonnie, was "racist". And Bruce was kind enough to call her "crap".
Like Pixiamom says, free speech is beautiful. Some of the things uttered are ugly, though.

Oh I could actually care the less what her race is to be honest. I have no idea what her race is...if you note up top I had no idea even what her sex was to be honest. I said crap seller in general not just her there are plenty of them out there! Trust me she is not alone in getting that title!

OK, so noted.
But consider this: If a seller's persona or product line or auction text doesn't appeal to you, perhaps you are not her intended audience. So it really doesn't matter much to her whether or not you approve. She knows she won't sell to you anyway.
No one's ever been able to prove their "This seller is ruining it all for everyone" thesis. eBay is a big marketplace and a resilient one. The sellers you don't like are not going to be the death of it.

"The sellers you don't like are not going to be the death of it." Amen Fluffy, ebay is doing a great job of committing suicide.
Sellers such as the one in this topic will just be the remaining witnesses as the rest of us make plans to move on to better venues
