I can't believe this. I used a BIN on a magazine subscription on January 25th, paid immediately and never received.

I questioned the seller about it two months later and she never responded. Eventually she was Naru'd since there were a LOT of people that didn't get what they ordered.

Lo and behold today - June 9th the magazine arrives.

I guess she got screwed over by the magazine suppliers.

My sister bought me a magazine subscription through her son's school as a fund raiser. She gave it to me for Christmas, paid for it in Nov and I got the first issue in May!! It also did not come for the entire year as described. I only received 8 issues.

I've been really pleased with the subscriptions we get - although it does take forever for the first issue to arrive. I have the opposite problem - my subscriptions seem to NEVER expire -my son is still getting Nick AND Nick Jr and he'll be 12 this summer - he's moved on to Popular Science and Surfing magazine- let's hope they have similar longevity.

here's the seller just in case anyone else used them:

quite a few of the negative feedback were for magazines that were for a year or more and only received an 8 month subscription......

I decided to drop my subscription to Country Living last fall. It should have run out in April. They're still sending them AND sending dunning notes, saying I should be paying for the magazine because I reupped. Wrong. I'm sure there are people who forget they wanted to drop something, and just pay up. I keep a running list of magazines we subscribe to and when I renew plus for how many years.

I bought my Dad a subscription for Christmas a few years ago. In the tiny print (which I didn't read at the time) it said that it would automatically renew and my credit card would be charged until I cancelled it. When the year was up, I got a card in the mail which looked like it was asking if I wanted to renew. Again, in very tiny print, which fortunately, I DID read this time, it said I would need to call to cancel, or my card would be charged again. I almost tossed the card, thinking I only needed to do something if I WANTED to renew.
