Since one of you lovely people here told me about Bounce as an insect repellant, I thought I would give you a helpful hint as well.
Clogged toilet this morning ... Overflowed of course. Neighbor's plunger didn't work at all.
Googled, found a hint to put liquid dish washing detergent into bowl, wait a few minutes, plunge and flush. I'll be doggone if it didn't work! Used Dawn, a couple of squirts, gave it a few good plunges, and it flushed like usual except there were lots of bubbles in it of course. Whoo hoo!
