Hi, all: My husband mentioned recently that he saw a flashlight ad for one which is repowered by shaking it. Not winding something up, as some emergency radios work. I don't know what to call this item in order to search for it on eBay or the internet! (His birthday is coming up, and I'd love to find it in time.) ~Adele

I got one of those once. It works, after a fashion. I would only recommend it for emergencies, or for people with forearms like Popeye.
