anyone notice that Ebay is listing calculated shipping charges on the search pages with the calculated amount shown as being the amount you would pay if you shipped to yourself? Should make it fun for sellers and bidders of auctions closing now.

Not sure what you're seeing. Search pages give shipping to the zip code you're logged in with -- to you, not to the seller.

The shipping charges you see are shipping charges to YOUR zip code, when they buyer logs in, it shows to their zip code. Every person get the appropriate shipping quotes if you put in the correct weight.

It used to say "calculate" on the right side of the starting bid on the search page - not the amount. Have not checked to see if it has been corrected since I posted however.

Checked and it has been corrected. There is no longer the dollar amount were one shipping to one's own address but the word "Calculate" on both the search page and the listing page. Guess those who replied missed it this AM.

Has any one noticed their combined shipping defaults being ignore on new listings?
I have to click the Hide/show options to get discounts to show in the shipping section. Once I click H/S, I do not have to make any changes in the options but it appears the SYI form is not currently checking your defaults until you open the options. Major PITA! And heaven forbid I need to do revisions. It is also dropping the original shipping settings on the revisions as well.
