I am trying to create an invitation to send out, in PDF form. I cannot figure out how to insert a picture onto the page. Does anyone know how? Thanks in advance...

I format my documents and add pictures in Quark or Word and then print them to PDF. I find Acrobat Professional awkward for doing more than simple text edits.

I have created this in Word, how do I save it in PDF? This is going to be sent to several people and I was worried that not all might have word. Mac users don't do they? I am assuming everyone can open a PDF.
I have never really tried to create in Adobe before, awkward is an understatment!

Lots of Mac users have Word. All my husbands school stuff comes as Word documents and they open as well on our Mac as on Windows.
Look at your choice of printers in Word and see if PDF is not listed. In mine it is a printer you can pick then when you send it to print it makes a PDF.

To tell if you can make a PDF file, first click on file in the upper left of the page. Then scroll down to print. Open the printer options arrow or scroll to the link (whichever option you have). If you are able to make a PDF, it will say so there. If it don't, here is a very easy to use program called, pdf995. Go to
http://www.pdf995.com It is a free download and it works great.

I got it to work, under my printer button, I had no idea, I had options like that. Why is it so hidden? Anyway, the invitation (created in word) is now a PDF file and it looks great.
