My son-in-law's bank account has been taken over and someone is purchasing Ebay items and paying for them thru Paypal using his bank account. We need Ebay's phone # to report this. Thank you

I think it would be better to call Paypal, I have found it impossible to speak to a person at eBay, Paypal are very helpful.
PayPal Customer Service Agents are available to help you from 4:00 AM PST to 10:00 PM PST every day.

Supposedly, eBay and PayPal support folks are to be cross-trained so you need to only contact them once. I wouldn't trust this, call PayPal and follow up with eBay Live Chat/Security Center. EBay's security seems a bit brighter than their other support crew- maybe they can nip this in the bud.

Call YOUR BANK and tell them that the purchases are unauthorized - and tell them to block any further activities as fraudulent.

Thanks to everyone for the helpful suggestions. The matter is taken care of now. Their bank and Paypal will make certain that they get their money back. It appears that a disgruntled employee at their previous mortgage company must have sold bank account numbers. If my daughter had checked her online account bank more often, she would have noticed the Paypal transaction. A lesson for all of us. Thanks again

Great, glad to hear that it is sorted, it can be very scary. We had someone use our credit card # a few months ago for thousands of dollars, thankfully, Visa were right on the ball and contacted us, and we didn't have to pay for the charges on our card.

apparently, nothing was purchased on Ebay. The person opened a Paypal account in my son-in-laws name using his banking acct. routing # and then withdrew approx. $1,000.00
