I recently changed e-mail servers. Since then any PayPal payments I receive have gone to my old e-mail address and I cannot access the money. This happens only on auctions listed through Vendio. If I use the eBay Sell Your Item form, my payments go to my new e-mail address. When I changed servers I immediately changed my e-mail address on all profiles (eBay, PayPal and Vendio). I have tried for a full week with multiple phone calls and e-mails -contacting eBay, PayPal and Vendio. No success! eBay keeps insisting that I should use their Sell Your Item Form and pay 15 cents for every additional picture. My last auction would have cost me an additional 45 cent listing fee for 6 photos. Is eBay trying to force sellers to use their form instead of Vendio so they can make more money? I refuse to be forced to use their form, so I have to revise every auction I list and change the e-mail address below the PayPal logo where it says "payment will go to". Is anyone else having this problem after changing an e-mail address and, if so - have you been able to solve it and how? Thank you!

Without a doubt, there is a place in vendio also where it says "payments should go to." Your seller preference profile and defaults perhaps? Simply changing your email with vendio most likely won't do it. But since I don't list with vendio, and have never ever in 11 years paid anyone for pictures (and stopped using AW when they instituted their fee structure), I might ask you to check your global preferences under Payment Types.

I spent half the day yesterday e-mailing back and forth with a Vendio technician and he couldn't figure it out either. I changed my seller preference profile a week ago. I also changed it under global preferences - no luck. How are you listing auctions without paying for pictures?

Yup, self hosted through my ISP. Never a charge, I control the pics, and I don't think I've ever had those red x's since I left here. But you do need to know how to upload to your host, and add the proper tagline in html.
When you do your listing, what does the preview say? (I'm assuming there's a preview function?) Are you starting a new auction, or copying an old one or using a template?

The preview function on Vendio does not show an e-mail address.

The preview function on Vendio does not show an e-mail address. I don't know how to do it through my ISP (too old to learn). The only place you can use a template is directly through eBay - that's why I don't have a problem when I use their Sell Your Item form.

This happened to me when I changed servers. As best as I can remember, I went to My Account on Vendio then went to eBay specifics. On the PayPal space (where it says "send payment to" , you'll need to change your e-mail address there. Foolish me...I thought that changing it once on eBay would take care of all of the eBay concerns but it didn't. Hope this is what you're looking for. Good luck...I know from personal experience, it can be VERY frustrating!

Just out of curiosity, and since I apparently still have a vendio account, I went in and changed mine which has been obsolete for the past several years.
I imported my current listings, copied one, which shows the old email, went to preferences and changed it. When I went back to the listing details in vendio, it shows the correct one. I guess I meant the preview as the listing details. Under Payment Types, it says Add/Manage accounts. I changed it to something else again, and it worked correctly.
Now, I didn't upload. But are you saying you changed your preferences, and then when it's actually listed, it shows the old PP address?

I have to ask the winning bidder to cancel their PayPal payment. Then they must send the funds again by clicking on "Send Money" in PayPal and entering my correct e-mail address. Some of them get annoyed at having to do that (one got really nasty, saying "That's your problem, not mine" and I never did get the money). Others think it's a scam, so they mail a check directly to me. It delays payment in either case.

I know we can have multiple email addresses in one paypal account and I am always under the impression IT IS ONE PAYPAL ACCOUNT,so the money is not segregated by email addr.
Do you have both old and new email addresses in one Paypal account?

I have one PayPal Account which is supposed to have only one e-mail address. If I look at all the places in PayPal where my e-mail address should be, it only lists one - the new one. Somehow the old one shows up in the auctions. I cannot find the old address anywhere so I don't know where they are getting it. If I could find it, I would delete it. I did a file search and as far as I can tell that e-mail address is nowhere in my computer files.

If you have kept your old email addr in your paypal account and just add the new email addr from the new server, you will receive the payment ,it is just that you wont get notified,so you go to your paypal account and see who has sent you payment to the old email addr.
Too late to do it now.
Unless you are on good terms with your old ISP and they will let you get back on their system for a few days so you can add your old email addy back to your Paypal account.
I have AOL as ISP ,I am not a big fan of AOL and I pay them 55 for cable connection, but I am afraid to switch to another ISP for reasons like yours, been on AOL for too long!

I give up on this entire situation. I will no longer be posting any messages. I have struggled with this for a week and I can no longer deal with it. Thank you to those of you who have tried to help.

I don't know whether this is it or not, but I notice that there are TWO places on Vendio where the PayPal email is shown - not sure if you update one that the other updates as well.
You can find an "Electronic Payment" section under "Global Preferences" in "My Account" and again in "Payment Types". You might check to make sure they both show your new email address.

I have one PayPal Account which is supposed to have only one e-mail address.
You're wrong.
Even if you have a Personal account that you're using for eBay, you can have more than one email address associated with it.
This information is kept in Profile > Email.
You have to modify email addresses on eBay and on PayPal separately. It's fine to change your eBay address to the new one; that won't affect receiving payments. But one should always handle PayPal email addresses with great care, because if you screw that up, the money stops coming in.

I have 4 emails with my Paypal account, and when I change emails I always keep the old one until I am certain that all emails are changed and working correctly. Then I delete the one that is no longer valid only after all checks out..... I have changed my email about 5 times in last 9 years and been with Paypal since almost the begining of their service. There is a place here at Vendio that has to be changed to get the listed auction to show the right email but I forgot where it is. so I am no help other than fact that YES you can have more emails with Paypal...
