This product works great for cleaning old china. What you think is a permanent stain, comes right off and leaves the piece sparkling. It isn't harsh but a nice soft sponge. Works for cleaning Corning Ware too.

Thanks for the tip! (Do you have to moisten the eraser before using? Just curious.)

I love the Magic eraser! It even takes off permanent magic marker. I'm cheap, I cut mine in half before using it, makes it last twice as long...

I adore the Magic Erasers. I found that the store brand erasers work just as well and are cheaper but don't waste your money on the crummy ones they sell at the dollar store. Those disolve away when you look at them. Also, don't use Magic Erasers on flesh, especially the flesh of small children. (Some people, not me, have learned this the hard way.)

I get them at the food store in the cleaning section.
Thanks Niel35 for posting this. It prompted me to get out my eraser to try on a job I was about to start. Our photographic light tent has a background sweep with a flocked white finish. I found out the had way that it can be stained really easily when I set a pottery jug on it and it left a dirty ring. Tried all sorts of things and finally got it clean with rug cleaner that had to be washed out. My husband brought a sweep home from school that a student had gotten dirty and I was about to do the rug cleaner and wash method. Read your post and tried Mr. Clean instead. It worked! and with less rinsing and drying time.

I'm in Florida and get them at the grocery store. Publix carries them here. They are with the soaps and cleaners

They come in a box and at my store they are stocked away from the other regular sponges. Same area but a different section.

I couldn't believe all the personal info they want. I'll forfeit two free sponges for that telemarketing storm. Thanks so much for the info though cause I have several cleaning nightmares that I bet will go away with this product, can't wait to try it.

You got that right Don. I would rather buy the produce than give them all my personal info.
Just buy it at the grocery store, span free
