It's hard to tell. My store has wild swings, always has. It seems to have a monthly cycle, based on ending date. I would use a 30 day comparison to detect trends.

It looks really scary if I do a 30 day trend I am talking about a 50% drop in store front traffic all my other numbers vists etc. are right on excluding sales which of course are down due to decrease in store front traffic. What is eBay screwing with now?

I'll admit, I haven't analyzed traffic statistics, only sales. Store sales were up in September, somewhat lower in October. When store sales are slow, I look at how many core listings (and their quality) to drive buyers to my store. Some batches seem to have been ignored by eBay - I write them off as being listed during an eBay search glitch and list them again. It takes only a single buyer's shopping spree in my store to make my day - so much is left up to chance!

I just looked at my store traffic report and it seems to be in line with 52 weeks and 4 weeks prior although Store Home Page Views are a little down, visits and page views are up a little.

Do you ship worldwide? I think stores have become more visible internationally. With the dollar so low, I've seen a surge of non-US sales.

I ship anywhere and everywhere. I guess I wll just have to see what happens over the next couple days. I have 25 years in automotive retail and have always been amazed on how either people are buying all at once or nobodys buying anything. After 8 years of eBay I should know that it will break loose.
