I'm still searching for an auction listing service.

I've tried them all (including Vendio) and they all have their ups and downs.

But, I know several of you guys have tons of listings so I thought I would check back and see if you use the online listing form or SMPRo?

And, do you have a Vendio store?

Do you use checkout redirect with it?

I was afraid to use Vendio after they merged with Andale because Andale fees are way too much. But, it looks like they will keep theirs semi reasonable here and I'm considering taking the leap and trying them again. I haven't tried Vendio since the Auction Watch days.

Thanks.

Hi Myfavorites. Welcome back to VD board. I use the Merchandising Edition (SMME) online lister - they also have the Inventory Edition online. It seemed to me that the SMIE was hard to use with OOAK items but maybe there are ways to do it. I never took the time to really learn it.

I set up Profiles for each of my templates (at least one for each state and some for cities, countries, holiday cards etc. - have about 100 of them. I just have to select the right Profile from a drop-down, create a title, edit to show postmark and condition, attach pics and launch.

I have a Vendio Store but deactivated it because I never could figure out what I wanted to do with it. It's on the back burner LOL. I think if you really want to market your Vendio store you need to use checkout redirect to upsell.

Thanks Neglus.

The last time I used Vendio I used the offline lister but if it is easier I think i would really like to set it up with the online one this time. That way I can still manage everything when I am out of town. My granddaughter is still having eye problems so we travel quite a bit.

The profiles sound like they are the way to go. I had something similar set up with another program I tried but it doesn't appear to be able to handle large volumes so I'm back.

Vendio (auctionwatch) was my first lister and I always did well with it.

I absolutely swear by the ease of use of listing through Vendio, and I've done this for almost all the 8 years I've been selling. Well worth the few extra dollars per month.

I have the silver edition of photo hosting, too, and love it, since I use 'way more than 1 photo per listing (average 3 - 8).

I don't use any of the other bells and whistles from Vendio--the SMPro or the checkout or any of that. Perhaps some day I'll look into them; for now, things are working well for me.

A few friends have asked me about selling on eBay and I've told them all to consider seriously using Vendio.

roadsmith I have the same as you and have been with Vendio for about 7-8 years, one of the main things I like is the amount of photo's you can put in an auction.
Ebay I think one free and the rest??

I like it too, except for this bright, bright background. If they don't change it, I may look elsewhere. VERY hard on my eyes.....

I haven't listed anything in months but also like Vendio. I tried 3-4 others years ago V worked the best for me.
Selling on eBay was semi-profitable hobby for a few years, then I wandered off to other projects.
