To you too! So sad - this neighborhood used to be teeming with kids but they are all too big to trick or treat now . Only 7 little goblins so far and the weather is PERFECT!

I had my usual crowd of ZERO. But then again I live kind of remote & back from the road so that if anyone knocked on the door I would be afraid to open it.

No one in this area has any trick or tresters because the houses are just too far apart.

I'm nostalgic for when our kids were small. After they'd gone to bed, I'd go through their bags of candy and remove all the Evil-but-Good chocolate. And eat it. They never knew the difference. Not nice, huh.

When they got to be junior high age, we actually paid them $10 each to stay home. I'd read that all the sugar eaten after Halloween was a major cause of weakening of the body's defenses so they'd catch bugs more easily.

I'd always wondered why they tended to get sick with colds or such the days after trick or treating.
