Hi, all: I have three tin-back trivets in the Autumn Leaf pattern (Jewel Tea Co.). These are not porcelain. What I'm looking for is information on when these tin-backs were made (approx. dates). If you have a book on this pattern, I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks in advance. ~Adele

I found tin backed hot pads, but no trivet. Maybe a picture is in order.

I'm sure these are hot pads, and thank you for the tip! Now, any indication of when or how long they were made?

The 7 1/4" round hot pad with the tin back was introduced in 1937.

Thanks! The round one I have is 7" in diameter. 1937. Interesting. There are no marks, but the decor is unmistakable. Then there are two oval ones, too. The tin backs are quite worn, but all is intact, so I'll try one and see what happens.
