Right now I have one ebay and one paypal account.
I would like to buy some Christmas presents on ebay, but I don't want my daughters seeing that it is me that is buying them.
In the past I have read on this board that all I need to open a second ebay account is a second email address. That would be ok.
My question is can I use the paypal account I already have to buy items with my new ebay account? or do I also need a new paypal account?

You can use it. Just add your second email to your account.
However:
Personally, I have a second paypal account for purchases which lets me pay with credit card without emptying my paypal account every time. It's a personal, not a business account, and some spending limits do apply. I won't buy without using a credit card any more.

All I have a ebay seller account and buyer account (I never buy with my seller name)I use the same paypal for both accounts. As Birg said just add a name... in fact my husband uses the same paypal account when he buys with his ebay account. Keep em guessing

birgittaw, I agree with you. I also have two PayPal accounts; one for accepting payments, the other, which is a personal account, to buy with by credit card.

Yes, all you do is simply pay with it. No extra e-mail address needed. Just make sure when you pay, that you put in the EBAY ID that you used to purchase, so the seller will know who you are. You could have 100 eBay accounts and use the same paypal account for all of them.
