They look like cigarette cards to me.

The top 2 cards are known as "strip cards", originally published as a strip of cards. (1920's, I believe)

The bottom card is likely a N-Series tobacco
(cigarette) card (1890's?)

Wow!

THANKS, sthoemke!

But, where does one list "strip" cards?

Tis amazing the wealth of knowledge that can be tapped here amongst the wonderful folks of the EO~

Mercy, boo-coops!

Thanks from me too, Sthoemke. I've never heard of strip cards, just cig cards. I love learning new stuff that may come in handy some day.

Can you tell me how they were originally sold? Were they vending machine items? I tried to research on google but got lost in the strip poker porn offerings.

where does one list "strip" cards?

Collectibles > Trading Cards > Other Non-Sports
(I would include "vintage" in your auction title)

Can you tell me how they were originally sold?

They were originally sold as multiple card strips, and also as uncut card sheets. It is unknown how exactly they were sold, but it is widely believed many were sold alongside candy displays. (many of the producers of the cards are believed to be candy companies).

Were they vending machine items?

I have never heard of any that were distributed in vending machines.

Unless you have already listed them, I would consider Entertainment Memorabilia section. That is where I place all my prints for opera, movie and theatre folks.
