already suffered thru the 'pneumonia'-like flu which i contracted on an airplane on 12/25/06 ... am about 90% back to my old self ... should i still try to find a flu shot?

aintrich, absolutely get a flu shot. Each year the flu strain/virus is different so you need one EVERY YEAR.
Right now they are working on which strain will hit us in 2008/2009. It's a guess, but a very educated guess.

I got one as soon as they were available in the fall. So far so good. No flu last year and none yet this year. Now where is some wood to knock on? Done! I rolled my desk chair over to a wooden shelf.
