I posted some five day auctions on Tue to end Sunday. Using only the free Pic knowing that they are turning on the "free" gallery this week. Well today, 35% of my pictures have disappeared. I just can't get excited about being back on EBay.

Is there any way I can get the pictures back?

Don - you mean the gallery picture is gone? I see pictures on the listings themselves.

You can add or change gallery by putting the item number in here:

So you can see them on all the listings? I see them on some but about 35% don't have pictures. Unless I click on the auction.

When I go to my list, the first four have pictures, then the nest two do not followed by the Indiana trailer plate that has a picture but the rest of the page does not show pictures. On the next page, which is all postcards all but one has it's picture. All the pictures were there yesterday.

By pictures you mean the gallery picture beside the listing on the search page, right? I don't see gallery pictures on many of the ones on the first page. Must be one of ebay's lovely glitches. I think adding them should be very easy using that link in my previous post.

I didn't think they turned on the free gallery till Wednesday? If you listed Tuesday, perhaps they turned on everything the first day or two, and then turned them off for those that were not paid?

All the listing had these gallery pictures on Tuesday.

Neglas, When I tried to use the link, I entered the number of one with a missing picture and this is the response I got.

Item has no Gallery Feature

Sheesh!

All of my items listed without gallery now show gallery except for one showing "no photo" in search but there is a photo there and every time I try to revise it and readd a photo is STILL shows no photo. Must be a glitch somehow. I don't know if you try to add gallery when you haven't paid for gallery if you will be charged now. Did you pay for gallery?

Don...I looked at a couple of them....could it be the SIZE you are using. I think that they may be TOO SMALL.

Note: The picture you submit when you add Gallery is automatically sized to 80 pixels on the longest side in List View and 96 pixels in Picture Gallery view.

i size all my pictures to 650 to 700 pixels on the longest side.

As I said, they were all showing up on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, as well as earlier today.

Ebay is just way too big.

Neglus, If you wouldn't mind, send me an email at [email protected]. As soon as you hit the spam blocker, I'll add you. Thanks,
Don

Tom,
Tell Ralphie that Neglus gave me that link in an earlier post and it continues to render this message when I try to use it with any of the auctions whose pictures have gone on vacation.

"Item has no Gallery Feature"

I find this all very interesting since, as I said, all listings had gallery pictures on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and earlier today.

I did not select gallery. I guess that's why it says it has no gallery feature. But... I didn't select gallery on the ones that still are showing up and, they are supposed to be giving them to us at this point.

Glitch, Glitch Glitch...
