I just love this postcard but can't figure out quite what to call it - lady with butterfly wings?, Fairy?, Psyche? Was there a genre of this type of lady back in the art nouveau era?

It is a beauty! Can't give you a name of the genre but I would include "butterfly wings" in the description. Also that it is a "photo montage" "fantasy". I have one very much like it of a woman with wings.
Here it is:
There is a round logo at the bottom but I will have to look at the card to see if it is the same.

Photo - Wow yours is almost the same! I'll bet the logo is the same. I can't quite read all of it. I wonder if yours is a day butterfly and mine a night moth?

You may be right about day and night, neglus. Does yours have glitter applied? If so I would list that.

NPG refers to a photographic process- I've seen it on some Rotograph cards - can't remember what it refers to - Neue-something.

I think they are sequins that you see. Mine has some if I remember. Have not been into that box of postcards for awhile. I may dig it out to see.

Neglus, I got out my card. I think the logo at the bottom is the same as yours but it is very light and I can't tell. There are no sequins. I was remembering a different card. I think it might have been dots of heavy color that were added and have flaked off. Love the card and it would go really well with mine but....I MUST RESIST! I am really trying to buy only in a narrow focus now but it is not easy when I like so many kinds of photographs.

I understand Photo - I am not even sure I can part with it - probably will price it high and hope it doesn't sell.
I found another card with the batch and the NPG is explained on the back of that card: "Neue Photographische Gesellschaft, Steglitz 1904, Berlin". This type of real photo is called a "oranotype".
