Bored? - No excitement in your life?
GET A CAT!!!
About 6 months ago a small black cat showed up at work cold-hungry and lost. I've had dogs and cats all my life most of which were lost creatures who needed a home. This one did and needless to say she got one.
She gets along great with my retriever and yorkie so life is good.
Yesterday my husband and I were watching a movie taking a break from business and we heard a rustling noise in the kitchen. It was a strange noise and both the dogs were bothered by it so we went to take a look.
I have a 40lb bag of Iams dog food for the retriever and I had mistakenly left the bag open a bit after I fed the dogs earlier. Something was moving inside the bag. Needless to say, the first thing we both thought was "Oh no - there's a mouse in the bag". We crept closer being very quiet and a bit nervous. Just as we get to the bag we hear this awful yell, the top of the bag flies open and this black thing comes barreling out. We both yelled and damn near jumped out of our shoes.
Needless to say the cat was grazing again. She got into the bag and evidently couldn't get a good toe hold to get back out and panicked. So after she scared us out of 10 years worth of life she had the nerve to look at us as if we had done something.
Like I said "Bored? GET A CAT!! Life will never be boring again.

Great Story!! I love cats, dogs and all living creatures(which were brought home by my sons) I am into the Manx breed. Now that breed is totally entertaining! My youngest gave me a cat for my birthday in July. She is 9 months old and such a character.
