Thanks again! We just got back home - we went to this sophisticated wine/bistro in a TINY town a few miles from my daughter's college town. Who would have imagined a town like that could even have a restaurant at all - Main Street was about 2 blocks long!
Night everybody - thank God the b-day is over so I don't have to think about being another year older until next year.

That out of the way. Where is the college town and which small town?
What is the name of the place. Maybe people in our neck of the woods should give it a try.

Stone - the name of the town is Dundas (about 3 miles from Northfield). The restaurant is "Fermentations" and the food is excellent, creative, but not at all cheap. The main clientele must be the faculties and visiting parents at St Olaf and Carleton - though I did notice a Budweiser brewery at the other end of Main Street.

Wow, that isn't exactly next door to your place. It's an hour for me and your further away.
I've never been to Dundas, but close. I have done Jesse James days in Northfield and handful of times. Next time I'm down for Jesse James days, I will have to drop in.
