Well I haven't posted in ages. But I came across the following and
thought it could be very useful, I was skeptical at first (as I was
with Paypal 8 years ago). But I signed up, received my $25 signup
bonus, and a few $10 referral bonuses, and have no problems thus far,
the security is double redundant, you need a user name/password &
security question to get into your account.
Business has been slow, I'm only on ABE & TEXTBOOKX... I do alot of
scrapping now too. And a few other things to keep busy, no sense in
keeping all the eggs in one basket... Speaking of which Happy belated
Easter everyone.

Glad it's not banned on Ebay yet... Sheeshh they have gotten very restrictive there.. I started there in 98, was alot of fun. At the end 2006 it seemed they were catering to the big companies, was no longer the online flea market.
All that & a Bag of Chips Too!!

Revolution Money Exchange is only really needed in the USA since bank-to-bank transfers are so difficult and often expensive to do there. In most OECD countries bank-to-bank transfers are often instantaneous and free (also irreversible if not reversed within a few hours or minutes).
One of the reasons PayPal is so unpopular for domestic payments outside the USA is that domestic bank transfers are much safer, usually instantaneous (depending on countries banking infrastructure), and FREE. In contrast PayPal takes 4-10 days to transfer payment by eCheck (their new standard transfer method) to get to recipient's PayPal account, then another 3-10 days to recipient's bank account: worst case 20 days for cash to be transferred between bank accounts (and always subject to reversal for unspecified reasons).
