there are still a few out there but they state clearly it will take 6 to 12 weeks for the first issue to arrive.

The many I subscribed to in the past always stated a 3-month wait time. From what I understand, these will no longer be allowed. Pity, these were "luxury subscriptions" - ones I didn't need but was willing to wait the extra time for up to 90% savings. It sounds like a few cranky customers who were unable to tolerate the TOS have influenced eBay to close its doors to this type of sale. Pity - I'm sure the sellers will find other, cheaper venues and the buyers will follow- (buyers who may be looking for magazine subscriptions but who browsed and found other eBay items to bid on as well). It's a loss for all.

This is awful! We subscribe to a lot and all but two were bought on eBay. Amazon is expensive compared to the eBay deals. I got three years of Oprah for 20.00.

we've bought MANY subscriptions thru ebay, always knowing about the time it takes to get
'em going .... i'm really upset they're discontinuing sponsoring these listings.
but this IS the age of the internet, and soon we will find where else we can get the same renew (or new) rates for these ...
