Hi, all: I've never run into this problem before. The gallery picture I'm using for an item currently listed turns out not to be so great (the item didn't sell tonight, and I've relisted already). There's another photo, in the auction, that I'd like to substitute for it, but I can't figure out how to make that change. Vendio is my photo host. Anyone?

I can't figure out how to revise it in eBay. If you created the listing in Vendio, you should be able find it in the Closed control panel, edit it to select another pic for the gallery image and relaunch it.

Wherever you have them hosted, just re-name them so that they are switched. That should do it, shouldn't it?

To revise in ebay, go to the spot that says "add Pictures" (you may have to remove the current picture first). A new screen will come up - insert your desired gallery image url in the little box (the url will be something like:
"http://imagehost.vendio.com/preview/ne/neglus/REVISEGALLERY.jpg". You can find it by right clicking on the image and then "properties" and copy the "location" URL.
Here is a screenshot:

If your auction has a bid there are certain sections you cannot revise.

Oh that's right - my bids are so few and far between I forgot that you can actually get them . If your item has bids, all you can do is rename the images but that will mess up the way they appear in your listing (assuming you are still using the image you don't want to use as a gallery in your listing).

Sometime, I think it is easier and faster to cancel the listing and start over.

Thanks, everybody. Still wrestling with it. I do not see a way to change the name of a specific picture.

Did you try the url I gave you above.
Upload the photo you want to use 1st and then use that url - it's really easy unless I've missed something here?

It sounds like you must have a bid if you are talking about renaming pictures. You would have to rename them in your photo editor and then upload to Vendio. A warning comes up that you already have an image by that name - select the option that you want to replace the existing image. It usually takes a few hours for the replacement to come through to your listing.
