I'll show you 2 of each mark as don't know whethere they are upside down or not. Would appreciate it if you can tell me what they say. One is made in Japan but not sure if the other is Japanese or Chinese. TIA

The second one of each set is upside down, but they seem to be the same.
These are Kansi characters(Chinese) but the Japanese use them too,so without seeing the item,I cant tell if it is made in Japan or China or Hk.

Definately not poppy leaves, I grow lots of them, and the leaves are very frondy. They are not peonies. Could they be nastursiums?

thanks, but not hibiscus. I have loads of them in my yard and not similar. It sure looks like poppy to me but maybe the leaves don't match.
I really only wanted to know what the marks meant
thanks everybody

With the first bowls, the fruit looks like a Japanese or Fuyu persimmon. I have them growing in my back yard and the leaf & fruit look quite similar. but I could be wrong.
