I have become interested in the braided lucky bamboo plants. They are beautiful and lots of sites available. They look great in the bathrooms.

Neva: That bamboo is Very Big out here in California; we see it everywhere for sale. Thanks for sending the care instructions; it answers a question I've had for a while.

TIP: You can cut a longer stem of the bamboo just above any nodule on the stem, put it in water, and it'll root. You can double and triple your bamboo over time. I had one that got to tall, and I did that. Now I have three.

I saved the top 6 inches with the leaves and rooted that, too.

Mine are a bit small but they are so cheap at the outdoor market on Sat morning, I can get more. He even gave me a couple more with my purchase. I would love to know how they braid them.
