Was wondering how people charge for oversize boxes before they know what the zip code is? When does the post office charge extra for the box size? I see sales manager has a place for box size. If I put it in plus the weight and then hit calculated postage will it automatically figure it out for me when someone puts their zip in the box on my auction? thanks ahead - Fran

Hi: When I'm not sure, I write the approx. weight of the item WHEN PACKAGED (add about a pound to the item's weight) and guarantee fair shipping, no gouging.

I also pre weigh packaging but I use a west coast zip code from here in the Midwest and state this is my maximum postage. It is always pretty close and works well for us but would probably depend on your location.

On the oversizes and the unusual I also try to put something in the description about the shipping too. It seems to help examples tube shipping, will go flat rate, or will not fit in flat rate boxes, etc
