HMM - what if one of the undisclosed "Good Seller" metrics is % of FB left for trading partners? Stranger things have happened.

I believe EBay addresses you by your registered name. I believe this is a spoof. I personally don't respond unless it's in my EBay inbox.

I haven't gotten one of those but I have my preferences set to receive NO notifications. Is there a link to sign in on the email (if so it probably is a spoof). At any rate, I wouldn't click on it and would just go directly to the FB page to leave it.
I usually give FB when I ship and then have Vendio set to leave when FB is given just in case I miss somebody.

The real eBay will always use your real name as well as your eBay handle in any emails.
It will be addressed something like:
"Dear Mr. John Smith userid bigsmitty"

Yes there are clickable links in the email. Like you guys i dont click on links either. I am also certain it is a scam email too. I have tried to get an answer from ebay but they keep on writing back and asking what i want to know and to resend the information again.(3 times so far.) Do any of you people have the email address of the best place to re send this to.?
Thanks for any help.

I have received that one in the past. Usually when I gotten around to leaving feedback yet. I just delete it and move on. When I get a chance to do it, I will. Sometimes it's a day or two after I ship. Sometimes it's three weeks.
I figure that providing good service and getting products out within 24 hours comes before leaving feedback.

Don't you ever take a day off? You're a better seller than I am, Stone.

I agree. Shipping and service is so much more important than that dang feedback. Less than 30% of my buyers leave feedback so why should I make it a priority when I have a full time job packing, shipping, listing and responding to emails from people who want to send me money?
Just had a buyer complain this weekend because I took 5 days to leave her feedback. Of course this same buyer dinged my DSR for shipping costs sinply because I had the nerve to charge her the extra .15 increase on Priority Mail that went into effect this month.
Take a day off? I haven't had many but I am about to have a lot!

It is very hard to give good and fast service when your customer wont reply to emails in any way shape or form for 3 weeks or more and they dont answer at all. either thru ebay or direct.
Still have not heard back from ebay regarding the spoof email. But i am treating it as a spoof mail anyway.
