I went back to Artelino and they say no framed or matted pieces. I'm afraid mine is mounted on the mat but I have not unframed it yet. They also want me to tell them what the value is - I don't have a clue.
When you measure something like this, do you go just be the exposed image. This one is 14 1/2 x 4 7/8" and I can't find out what you call that size.
Have you ever heard of www.FloatingWorld.com - it looks like a nice site. I've emailed them some photos and we shall see.
I know art doesn't sell well on ebay normally - have you had any luck with woodblocks.
Have you ever thought of charging a small fee for helping people out? It something I would be interested in, if you did. I have many more pieces of Asian art that I would love to know more about.
I've sold piece for a very nice profit before but for all I know they could have been priceless antiques.

Artelino is in Germany so is Kotobuki,I though Floating world is in London but they have a 312 number,so?
With just one print, you are better off selling it yourself on Ebay .
most people want the print unmatted and unframed,so you have to remove the glass and frame and see if you can remove the matting as well, also without the glass, you can scan the print so people can see better.
I dont really know enough to charge anyone for my advice, but if you have more Asian stuff, show them here and I will take a look.
Condition is important with woodblock print, there are many dealers and private collectors looking for woodblock prints on Ebay, you can start at a low price and watch what happens.
Take a look at ebay seller renatamisic,he is in UK and sells woodblock prints ,and his prints are as good as the pictures shown.

You asked me-

You should measure the whole print including the margin.
