I have to say I'm a little troubled by the response to my going-out-of-business sale on eBay. People who I haven't seen bid in months are coming out of the woodwork -- which means they were there all along.

The bids are nice, sure, and it's good to have ramped-up cash flow, but I'm going to have to figure out what all this means.

Here's my quitting eBay graphic, BTW:

I love it!

I love the graphic.

Is there life after e-Bay? I've been trying to figure that one out myself.

Your new website must be doing pretty good.

I am keeping mum about future plans for now. (I know, amazing for such a blabbermouth, eh?)

But it may interest others to know that once you open a Yahoo! Store you can have as many more as you want, all for one monthly fee. The advantage of this is that you can have dozens of niche stores that receive high ranking in search engines.

Before Paypal is accepted on Yahoo,it gets expensive to have multiple stores,as each store would have its own merchant account and thats gets expensive.
Is there a limit on the total number of items for all the stores?
I think with one Yahoo store ,you can have 40,000 items,so if you are paying a flat one store fee for miltiple items, does it limit you to 40,000 items for all stores?

A little off topic, but since FlufF sells jewelry, I thought I would add this here. Last week in the Phila Inquirer there was an article about exboyfriendjewelry.com, a place to buy and sell items from past relationships.Sellers provide stories about break-ups, etc and try to sell the tangible remains of a broken relationship.

I decided to give the site a peek. I mistakenly typed in myexboyfriendjewelry.com and got many different vendors of jewelry.

Just interesting how this works. The second site, myexboyfriendjewelry has nothing to do with boyfriends, just a site that provides links to other jewelry vendors.

Fluffy - I don't know what it means either but my sales are dead on my main ID but my jewelry ID is doing pretty good. Grant it I don't sell anywhere near the amount that you sell but I'm still doing OK.

If only.

I don't wear shoes; I just strap on a couple of canoes.
