I just completed ebay's email survey about offering different types of off ebay web-sites. The survey was so skewed, it is obvious that this is what they intend to do with all of us little guys.

My buyers do not want to go to a gazillion websites to find additions to their collections. If eBay is ending auctions and offering a FP format for mega-consumable sellers and classifieds ads pointing to eBay supported websites for all of the rest of us, why don't they just SAY SO and be done with it? I am so WEARY of all of this.

What, is this that ProStores nonsense again?

All I had to do was check Google. There are a ton of people unhappy with their ProStores.

It looked like she had that dreaded neurological disorder that lets you browse and bid on eBay all day long but won't let you push the "Pay" button.

Yes - pro-stores basically with new twists - sorry I even started to answer. Wouldn't let me out unless I put ratings in boxes I wasn't interested in to begin with.

They asked you to rate some features and didn't say lowest to highest or whatever...probably the guy who designed the DSR's did the survey. They need to get a professional market research firm!

They need to return E-Bay back to what is was and quit screwing with it. Why bother with surveys, they don't care about what you have to say anyway. It's a stupid as asking if we come and burn your house down what will you do. Surely you can't sleep at night without dreams of E-Bay.

I don't do their surveys anymore as they are always longer than suggested and they end up pissing me off!!!

Took the survey myself yesterday. In comment section I told them I was too invested into my ebay store to consider going offsite with them as it sounded like they were trying to cature the people who are leaving ebay to open their own websites. Stated that, if in fact I did leave ebay to open my own website, I would not be doing it WITH THEM.

I asked "why don't you just make the stores more successful and put them into search?" (ie then some people won't leave ebay to begin with)
