DH and I just got back from a boat ride (yes during the Vikings game). It's unseasonably warm and just about the peak of fall colors. Thought I'd share with you:

Beautiful! We tend to forget about fall colors here in the Florida Panhandle. We're too busy enjoying the mild weather and less traffic now that the tourists are gone.

Gorgeous!
When we moved to Phoenix from Illinois, when I was in the 6th grade, I discovered, riding my bike, quite by accident a section of old Phoenix that had deciduous trees. The leaves were turning and falling into the street, and I felt I'd gone to heaven. Rode the bike back and forth on that street for many days.
One of the (many) things I love about living here in the mountains is that we have the greenery and some of the changing leaves of the midwest--birch, liquidamber, maples, etc. Mostly pines and live (evergreen) oak, though.

Gorgeous! Everytime I see fall colors I want to go drink apple cider, buy pumpkins and mums and eat Halloween candy.
