I had someone purchase an item from my store last week. The normal end of auction notice etc. This morning, I get this email from her:"Thank you for the auction item of patterns. I received
them today and they are in excellent condition.
I have tried to go on Ebay to leave feedback but unfortunately as a
guest on Ebay I am unable to do so. I do not have a user account on Ebay
but made the purchase through PayPal."
Can you purchase through Paypal? Do you not have to have an eBay user account in order to bid?

It shows a user ID, maybe she is just mistaken, but for some reason, they would not let her leave feedback. This was her first auction.

Did I read somewhere that buyers can't leave FB for 3 days? Was that just for negatives? Hopefully that wasn't her plan.

If she is buying as a guest, she won't be able to leave feedback until (if) she registers.
"Buying as a Guest
Buying as a guest lets you try eBay without completing full eBay registration. You can make 15 purchases using Buy It Now before you’ll be required to upgrade by registering as an eBay member.
Guest buying has these additional limitations:
The price of the item can be no more than $2000.
The item’s seller needs to have a Feedback score of 50 or higher and a positive rating of 98% or more.
The item can be purchased using Buy It Now, not auction-style.
Payments need to be made with a credit card processed by PayPal. Note that PayPal lets you send payments quickly and securely online, and your credit card information will not be shared with the seller."
