Well now that Ebay is warning us of the whats new for 2009, what are you stating as a return policy/handling time in your listings? Just some thoughts.
I have always inserted a sheet that says basically 100% satisfaction guaranteed return policy and hope you will contact me with any comments or suggestions. Has always worked fine but now that I'm going to post for the world to see not just people who actually purchased an item I feel some reservations.

I use a longer handling time than I really need just to be on the safe side.
As for returns we may as well do returns on everything because with paypal only payments now, they can return it weather we like it or not.

My defaults are set to:
Item must be returned within: 7 Days
Refund will be given as: Money Back
Return shipping will be paid by: Buyer
Return policy details: (custom) Returns accepted. Please contact me for return shipping instructions before returning your item. Refund of original purchase price minus shipping costs.
***********
I have never had anyone request a refund but if they did, my shipping instructions would include that the buyer had to return the item in the condition I had shipped it and refund woould not be processed until I verified the item was the one I had shipped. (I blind mark all items) Items damaged or lost during shipping would not be refunded.

Mine are identical to LtRay's, but I've added one more thing--that the buyer should send a photo of the item if it's been broken or damaged in transit. And then I will give shipping instructions.
