Someone told me this last week at the DHL office but she said they would stop ground shipping this week. I have not been able to confirm if that is true or not?
I really hate this as DHL was the cheapest ground shipper with tracking and you could ship larger items than UPS or Fedex.
But I must admit they were one poorly run company. I could go online and ship a package that was 15lbs & 20x20x20 for something like $25. If I took that same package in and didn't use my account it cost me about $10. Great way to treat a customer, isn't it?

That explains alot. I wasn't aware of DHL closing. A customer that works, or I guess I should say worked for DHL came in fairly early on Thursday with his whole family. He said his family put a stop of buying stuff during the recession, etc. Then he wanted to buy a lamp from us, but his wife didn't like it, then he told me about a recent purchase he made at an Estate Sale of several pieces of art, and so on. I think we spend money and don't even know it, or at least don't want to admit it. lol.

From my inbox:
"We'll pick up where DHL leaves off.
If you're concerned about the effect that DHL's downsizing will have on your business, rest assured that FedEx will be there for you to deliver peace of mind."
