I saw on the announcement board that in January we can only use the Beta My eBay. It says that 90% are using it, I guess I am in the odd 10%. I thought I should give it a try again. It takes FOREVER to load, it won't scroll, and if I finally get it to move a little, I have to wait ages for it to move again. Is it just me?

I'm not using it.

Cheryl
Whitman said she and McCain share a philosophy of scaling back the role of government. a point of view partly shaped by her EBay experience. "The EBay model is very Republican in its essence -- it's about making a small number of rules and getting out of the way while not overtaxing the community," she said.

Odd gal out here. I've been using it for a while. I like it now but was fusing at first. I figure they are gonna change it sooner or later so I mays well get used to it.I like the way ask a seller a question is in bright red above the auction , you can't miss it. All the links are on the top tabs. Works well for me and I hate change.

I use it, only because I know most buyers are using it and I want to understand how search works for them.

Is it just me, or does it take much longer to download, and I can't get it to scoll.

Not using it till we have no choice.
I keep trying, but I really don't like it.
Worst part is my favorites...I like being able to see all my favs on one page, but it is so spread out on the beta.

Not using it.

It also messes up the search on my phone. The webpage that comes up on my phone is slow and clumsy.

Tried it...don't like it. Won't use it either until it is rammed down our throats!

By the way have a look at the new Item page and go into the explanations to the Buyers regarding Shipping time. In two places they mention that the Seller won't ship until they receive either a payment by PayPal or a MONEY ORDER or CHECK!

They ask for feedback on the new page so I gave it to them and suggested they may want to align themselves with their new Policies regarding payment!

Yet another case where the left hand does not have a clue what the right hand is doing!

I sure wish someone would take over the Company and revert to the old way of doing things...ie" Just a venue and leave us to handle our own customers!

I guess I am still smarting over not being able to list during the special as I don't have any DSR rating for the past 30 days!
I tried Live Help today but it wouldn't connect!

So sorry you couldn't list otteropp, that is a shame. I guess all you need is one person to leave you ratings. Do you have any buyers who haven't left feedback yet? Maybe if you wrote and asked them to leave some and explain the situation, you might be able to list today.

I don't use it either. Maybe they meant that 90% were not using it but they don't give a hoot.

Neglus,

That was so sweet of you! The parcel will be on it's way today! I have piles of scarves that I was going to list but now I will wait until the Special is over so they don't get lost amongst the sale listings.

I show four Feedbacks in the past month but still a 30 day average of Zero. I am going to try Live Help again as Customer Service have not replied...not that I should be surprised by that!

Amber, I don't have anyone who has not left Feedback but I wouldn't e-mail them anyway.

otteropp: I called eBay because of a couple of buyers had unfairly slammed my ratings, and they suggested I write to every buyer who had not left me feedback yet and ask them to do so, to try and bring up my ratings. That is where I got the idea from.

Good idea, Amber. I just couldn't make myself do it but I have been pretty lucky lately and it seems all have left feedbacks for me.
How did your buyers react...did they reply or just leave Feedback?

I didn't actually do it otteropp. I guess I have become "feedback shy" these days. I almost hate to check my ratings, they really took a slamming a few weeks ago, but they are picking up now. I guess if people hadn't left feedback, my policy was "leave well alone".

"I guess if people hadn't left feedback, my policy was "leave well alone"."

I think that is my feeling too! With eBay encouraging people to be really 'honest' with their feedback I would not want to cause any waves!
